New Information about Midweek Services

A note from the Chaplain
Mid-Week Communion Services
We are now holding midweek services of Holy Communion on Wednesdays and Thursdays and I thought it would be helpful to let you know the details of the arrangements for both days;
On Wednesdays, we will hold a Service of Holy Communion at 10.00am online which will be led on some weeks by Canon Alan Amos and on others by me. We will have some BCP and some Common Worship services and the pattern for each month will be as follows:
 
Week 1     Common Worship                 (DG)
Week 2     Book of Common Prayer      (AA)
Week 3     Common Worship                (AA)
Week 4     Book of Common Prayer     (AA)
Week  5    Book of Common Prayer     (DG)     This will be just in the months when there are 5 weeks.
 
On Thursdays, we will have a service of BCP Holy Communion in church at 10.00am.  We will use a standard Order of Service which can be used each week and the readings and collect and prayer list for the week will be available on a separate sheet.
I hope that this will provide good variety in our worship and the opportunity for as many people as possible to access our services of Holy Communion during the week.  We are on a journey together in our worship, particularly as we begin to hold more services in church whilst maintaining some online services and we will review this regularly.  Your feedback and comments are always welcome.
