The pastoral care group was created to try to make sure that members of the congregation, are not left isolated when they need help.
The group consists of the chaplain plus a few people who have had, or who are undergoing, specific training in the area of pastoral care. This does not mean that we are doctors, nurses, marriage guidance counsellors or psychologists, but we are people who are ready to listen, pray with you if you wish and support you in any way we can. You can discuss problems and difficulties with us on a confidential basis, in the knowledge that that it will go no further than the chaplain and or/the group with your agreement
If you or anyone you know would like a chat with one of us, please do not hesitate to contact the chaplain in the first instance.
Other members of the group are Jo Kitson, Christine Damary, Rawsette Whyte, Gill Howie and Gertrude NImako Boateng.
