Holy Trinity Church

Anglican worship in Geneva

Welcome to Holy Trinity Church Geneva

It is with great regret following the latest Federal advice and also the decision of the local churches to suspend church services for the time being, that we have decided to follow suit.  We know that this will be a great disappointment and deprivation for many people but feel that it would be irresponsible to continue as normal.

There will therefore be NO CHURCH SERVICES from Sunday, 15th March and on the following Thursdays and Sundays until it seems safe and appropriate to hold them again.  The CHURCH WILL be OPEN on Sunday and as often as possible during the week (certainly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings) if you wish to go in for private prayer. Online Sunday services will be held – details on our news and CoronaVirus update pages.

We will also be postponing or suspending all other physical group activities related to the church.  However, we will do everything possible to keep in contact with people by telephone and e-mail and to organise activities on-line where possible.

Our youth leader, Armel Ayegnon, is planning with parents to organise ‘VIRTUAL JUNIOR CHURCH’ and ‘VIRTUAL YOUTH GROUP’.

We feel it is essential to provide CONTACT and SUPPORT for OLDER and MORE VULNERABLE people, those who may feel cut off and need help.  We are in the process of organising a network to contact those who wish on a regular basis.  Meanwhile, if you or anyone you know needs help, please let us know.  Please see contact details below. We plan to continue the ‘Lent in Daily Life Retreat’ on-line and hope to add other activities.  There are a number of people who are available to accompany people in prayer.

A regular update will be circulated on Fridays each week.

We are a lively Christian community worshipping and encouraging one another in faith, with a ministry and mission made possible by the energy and creativity of its members. We are growing and learning, and seeking to serve God and others better in this very special city and region.

We welcome you and any new ideas you may have about how best we can be the people of God in this place. There are all sorts of ways of getting involved, and we hope you find us warm and welcoming. You’ll find details on our Services and information about our various Groups and the Music and Youth Ministries on our website.

We hope to meet you soon.

Also, please let us have your contact details so that we can keep in touch. You email or call  Michèle Walker in the Church Office.
