Harvest Festival

The church looked spectacular, the pews were full and the food donations for the local hospice were generous.  The popular harvest hymns were sung with enthusiasm on a bright sunny morning here in Geneva.  The Junior choir performed ‘Harvest Praise’ and the main choir Rutter’s ‘For the beauty of the Earth’. Church Finances – Update

We completed the first seven months of 2017, i.e. up to the end of July, with a deficit of CHF 3,300. That is not an enormous sum and if the trends are going in the right direction, it can probably be recouped by the end of the year. A NOTE ABOUT SECURITY from the CHAPLAIN

I am extremely saddened to have to write once again about concerns in this area. Recently, following on a series of thefts from the church building earlier this year, once again altar and pulpit hangings were stolen from Holy Trinity Church. Choir Tour to Worcester Summer 2017

(7th – 11th August 2017) Holy Trinity Church Choir has just returned from a second successful trip to Worcester Cathedral, where our Musical Director, Mark Charles was a lay clerk for 10 years.   The choir sang five choral Evensongs and all five were directed by Mark Charles or Mark Jones, Assistant Musical Director, both of whom also played the cathedral organ.
