A “more” plastic – free Lent

  For many Christians worldwide, Lent is a time when we reflect on God’s purpose for our life, body, mind and spirit. In tune with the ever-growing awareness of how human activity is damaging God’s creation, the Church of England is challenging us to give up single-use plastics for Lent. 17th March – Spring Cleaning

Our choir performs for the Archbishop of Canterbury

The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby visited the World Council of Churches (WCC) in Geneva on 16 February WCC to celebrate its 70th anniversary.  Clare Amos who was involved in coordinating this event arranged for HTC choir to sing during the service where the Archbishop spoke on an “ecumenism of action”.  Our choir (with support from members of Emmanuel) sang a setting…
