Bible Study Groups

If you have any questions about the Bible study groups, or would like to start one, please do contact Betty.

Why join a Bible study group?

There are many benefits to joining a small Bible study group.  Not least is the opportunity it provides to get to know other members of the church family at a deeper level than is possible on a Sunday.

Through the small groups, our aim is for:

Our lives to be transformed by God’s truth (Romans 12:2)

Our community to be matured in love (Ephesians 4: 15-16)

Our world to be engaged with the gospel (1 Peter 2: 9-12).

Where do we meet?

Our small Bible study groups meet at the church as well as in homes.  One group meets in the downstairs church hall on Tuesdays, from 12h30 until 13h30.  Please bring your own lunch.  For more information, please contact Elizabeth Brown.

One home group meets in Chambésy on Wednesday morning from 10h00 to 11h30.  Please contact Yvette Milosevic.

Another home group meets in the Malagnou/Florissant area on Wednesday evenings from 19h15 to 21h00.  Please contact Judith Mutzinger.

And finally, we have a home group meeting in the Petit Saconnex area on Thursday evenings from 20h00 to 21h30.  Please contact Betty Talbot.

What sort of materials are used in the groups?

Some of the small groups use booklets that have been especially produced for them. These booklets contain the lectionary gospel passages for each Sunday, with accompanying discussion questions.
