Update on Finances

Thank you to all those who contributed for your generous response to the Gift Day, which yielded CHF 12,000. This has allowed us to narrow the deficit at the half-year, end June, to CHF 8,500, compared with a deficit of CHF 3,000 at the same time last year. A deficit at the end of the year is still forecast and we will…

Some good news

GOOD NEWS:  Julia Lacey, who is in the process of discernment of a vocation to the priesthood, has been accepted for training.  This means that from September this year, Julia will begin a process of vocational formation over the next three years which will, we pray, ultimately lead to her ordination to the diaconate and then priesthood.  We are very happy at…

The Church of England, knowing something of the success of Alpha and Emmaus courses, has produced material for its own Pilgrim Course. If you would…

Volunteering Opportunities in Geneva

Thinking about serving others – the Church office maintains a list of current charitable organisations looking for help in the Geneva area.  The church also cooks a meal for the homeless once per month at the Jardin de Montbrillant – contact Frederick Samuels if keen to help out.  We are also looking at the opportunity to help sort donations in the warehouse after…

Maison de Tara – one of our charitable beneficiaries

Over the past five years Holy Trinity has supported the development and service provision of palliative care at the Maison de Tara here in Geneva.  The work of the only hospice in all of Switzerland was covered in an RTS documentary last week.  The link to this fascinating program is below. https://www.rts.ch/play/tv/36-9/video/mourir-comme-a-la-maison?id=9615956
