This year we are have a special focus on the Family with our first trip to a Spiritual community where our Family and our Children can grow in all dimensions.
On 29th and 30th September we are organising a week-end Retreat for families at St. Niklausen. It will be a refreshing and spiritual time for all the families present in our Church, specially those attending our Junior Church and Youth ministry activities.
We will be welcomed at the monastery Bethanien by the ecumenical community called ” Communauté du Chemin neuf”. This community specialises in working with families and has presented at Lambeth Palace and then invited by the Archibishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby to shape a young monastic community.
I strongly advice you to come to this special time specially design for our Parish. Canon Alex will be joining us.
We ll be arriving at 12 noon for the lunch on 29th September and we ll be leaving on the next day around 2pm.
While the parents will be having activities the young people will be having ones especially design for them.
Here is a link to the community :
The cost (without transportation) including housing and food is just 100 CHF per adult and 70 CHF for each child. Below 4 years old there is no cost.
Please let Armel know as soon as possible if you are going as well as the number of people and the age of each participant. It will help us to prepare the retreat.
